A wide variety of events generate new inspiration for retailers

Visiting Paperworld is sure to be worthwhile for the international trade for stationery and high-grade paper products, e.g., stationers’, book sellers, gift boutiques, the toy trade, department stores and consumer markets, because buyers will find an unparalleled spectrum of products and the latest lifestyle trends in the fields of high-grade writing utensils and pencils, school articles, greetings cards, stationery, gift articles, wrapping materials and small leather goods. The high visitor standard and the very good propensity to place orders in recent years have been a great source of satisfaction for the exhibitors.

Moreover, special shows and events generate new impulses for assortment compilation and shop design. For example, both the Paperworld Trend Show in the foyer of Halls 5.1 and 6.1, which provides an outlook on the colours, shapes and materials of the coming season, and the Mr. Books & Mrs. Paper special show, which is aimed at more than just book sellers, demonstrate how exhibitors’ products can be combined in a fresh and exciting way, and thus boost sales to consumers. The young and innovative companies in the promotional area of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie – BMWi) also offer new ordering opportunities for the trade. And, when it comes to service, the 2017 edition of the fair will have a new wrapping show: ‘Wrap Up’ with Ulla Büning, who will demonstrate a variety of ways to expand the gift service in the retail trade.
