Waki, a store specializing in stationery specialty store "Wake Stationery", was reopened on February 28.
The Wake Stationery store has been operating on the first and second floors of the head office building since February 2017 as a current cafe and hands-on store, but in September 2019 we acquired and expanded properties adjacent to the head office building. A major renewal was undertaken with the intention of consolidating all of "offices, physical stores, and distribution warehouses" into one location.
In the renewal of the actual store, instead of eliminating the second floor, the building was connected to the first floor of an adjacent building, so that customers could look inside the store without climbing stairs.
Each store, including the new floor with impressive white walls and large windows with a sense of openness, displays a lot of notebooks and photos that the staff in charge actually wrote on Waki Stationery official Instagram.
In addition, the digital signage allows users to touch actual products while watching videos on the official youtube channel.
The newly-built bright cafe space has one table for four and two sets for two.
For customers who order specialty coffee and other drinks at the store, a "stationery rental service" is available, and you can enjoy a trial writing at the table slowly using a pen or marker you care about.
Experience-based content that has been popular for a long time, such as original notes and stamp corners where you can customize your purchased items to your liking, will continue. Items for the private brand “WAKI STATIONERY” are also available in the entire lineup.
