Two weeks ahead of Prime Day 2019, Amazon Business customers in the UK can now sign up for the e-tailer’s Business Prime programme.
Business Prime is already available in the US, Germany and Japan, and has launched today in the UK. Members qualify for a range of benefits, including: free one-day delivery (with free same-day delivery available in certain areas); spend visibility tools such as data filters and KPI management; guided buying whereby administrators can flag preferred or restricted items; and member-only deals. Payment by invoice is not yet available in the UK, but will be shortly, Amazon said.
As in other markets, there are four Business Prime plans in the UK (all prices exclude VAT):
· Basic: for up to three users, costing £80 ($101) a year. This plan does not include spend visibility or guiding buying tools.
· Small: up to ten users, costing £250 a year.
· Medium: up to 100 users, costing £600 a year.
· Unlimited: as the name suggests, for an unlimited number of users, costing £4,500 a year.
Prime Day 2019 takes place on 15 and 16 July, with Amazon promising “great deals” for Business Prime members in the UK.
