UK retailer WH Smith has strengthened its international travel business through a partnership with King Power Group (Hong Kong).
 
Travel retail firm King Power has over 35 years of experience operating across the world. The company employs over 10,000 staff worldwide and operates more than 1,000 stores covering various retail categories.
 
The agreement will include the development of the WH Smith brand and concepts in the Hong Kong territory.
 
This is the second expansion in as many months of the company’s travel business, following its acquisition of retailer InMotion in October.
 
WH Smith International Chairman Louis de Bourgoing commented: “We remain ambitious in growing the WH Smith brand and business into Asia. We are currently present in six countries in the region with excellent business partners and we are delighted to welcome King Power Group as a new franchise partner.”
