
The quality of an office workspace is one of the lead factors contributing to employee fulfilment, according to a recent study from Staples Solutions.
7,000 European office workers were surveyed online for the Vocation frustration – Europe’s office workers on the brink report. It found that the majority (89%) of respondents sought fulfilment at work, while a further 79% believed that the quality of their office workspace is a contributing factor in how fulfilled they felt.
Furthermore, 76% agreed that a well-functioning and attractive office workplace would encourage better staff retention
The study demonstrated a link between office environment and employees’ inclination to remain at the company – 97% said they felt frustrated with their work space, while 89% think about changing jobs.
